Daniel García Ibañez

Assembly member

Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the Autonomous University of Madrid, he worked for several years in the private company as multimedia programmer/web designer and in formal education as a professor of computer science and technology.
 

After finishing a Master in Engineering for Development Applied to Cooperation, from 2008 to 2014 he worked with Médecins Sans Frontières as a logistician, mentor of field logisticians and logistics coordinator, in different contexts and crises, some of them in countries such as Mali, DR Congo, South Sudan, Central African Republic or Syria.
In 2014 Daniel is validated as an associate trainer on RedR with whom he facilitated several trainings sessions on various topics: Emergency Logistics Management, Safety Management or Water, Hygiene and Sanitation.
 

From 2015 to 2017 , he joined Action against Hunger team as Operational Logistics Manager.

 

Currently, Daniel is part of the PAM-WFP team of consultants who work on the organization's thermosensitive logistics.
